They’re a Big HIT!

FLiRTing with Your Audience

Last week, you read about gorgeous male dancers who came together to Dance From the Heart. Now read about a group of sexy gals (as seen on GLEE) who are “taking over… one wink at a time.”

Built from the ground up by Justine Menter, FLiRT is an all-female dance entertainment company. In early 2008, this group formed and grew from having 3 people at auditions to attracting 50 women (plus one guy!) at their last. “We grew from a 5-person company to 17 girls from all over the country. We have such a diverse and wonderful group of women,” Menter proudly told us.

Trained in all styles of dance, FLiRT dancers perform choreographed dance routines, back-up dancing, interactive promo modeling and other entertainment-based services. Their attitude: fun, fierce and (the obvious) flirtatious. They’ve hit the stages of Hollywood hotspots such as MyHouse, BLVD3, H.Wood, Highlands, Kress, Key Club and Aqua Lounge. You may have also seen FLiRT dancers on hit TV shows like GLEE, the MTV Movie Awards, America's Got Talent and on stage with artists like Miley Cyrus, Kanye West, Kelly Rowland and more. They also help women add “spice” to their workouts with FLiRT Fit, a dance workout the girls bring to your home or your office. (You can also take the class at IDA Hollywood)

Justine, originally from Dallas, TX, has choreographed and taught across the U.S. for the last eight years, fusing her creative vision and business savvy. Besides directing InMotion Dance Company and co-founding/directing FLiRT, Justine has most notably choreographed for Interscope records LMFAO. She’s also worked for celebs like Faith Hill and for top choreographers such as Brian Friedman.

Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion to give a fresh, sassy approach to dance has earned Justine her notoriety. By combining her artistic creativity with her knowledge of the business world, Justine is pursuing her own dream while helping other young women do the same. “FLiRT is all about dancers creating careers for themselves by providing more performance opportunities, besides going on tour. I could go on and on about how much of a blessing this company has been for me and my dancers and I want to share it with others.”

Menter is truly a mentor for these women. Deep down, we all love a little flirtation. Hit on this group at www.flirtdancers.com.
