A Reason to Wear Glittery Heart Headbands |

Everyone knows you should dance from the heart ... but what about dancing for it? With movin’, shakin’ and droppin’ it like it's hot, dance is the perfect cardio workout. On Saturday, February 27th, get your heart rate up at Day of Dance in Titusville, Florida. (If you don’t know where that is, just follow along, there’s a good part coming up.) We got tipped off about this FL event, but after some research, we learned that it's happening everywhere! Day of Dance promotes the heart health benefits of dance as part of an active lifestyle. In Florida, residents will take advantage of FREE classes, health screenings and (Oooh!) the Orlando Magic Dancers will perform. Plus, sports simulators, games, prizes, dance and fitness demos, and even The Radio Disney Road Crew will mac out the day. Oh and yes, our fave star Arcadian Broad, will also be there. Day of Dance Cardiovascular Health events are presented by Spirit of Women, a network that’s appeared in Oprah Magazine, Good Housekeeping, and on The Today Show. They’ve also collaborated with celebs like Patrick Swayze, Christina Applegate, and Debbie Allen to spread important health messages. Now, for the moment you’ve all been waiting for and for those that don’t live in Florida. More than 50 hospitals nationwide are hosting these events. For a complete list, visit www.dayofdance.org, but better yet... watch this video NOW and even if you don’t dance for your heart, your heart will smile! |
