The evolution of the trophy is upon us?
gendance is all about icons, so it’s only fitting that we feature an award of the same caliber… the ICON of the Year award. This NEW trophy is tip-toeing its way into the dance industry. Although the nostalgic gold dancer (eternally in an arabesque or pique) will forever hold a place in our hearts, it’s simply taking up valuable space on our shelves. Listen folks, its 2009. If you’re a true icon, you deserve to be recognized.
Thanks to Hollywood Connection, the best of the best from around the country will be bestowed with the prestigious-looking trophy you see to the left. After competing at Regionals, 1 male and 1 female in each age division will become ICON of the Year at Nationals. Winners get a slew of WANTED prizes such as artist representation with DDO Artists Agency.
