The Gamble of Falling in Love

Guys & Dolls

There are guys that love the thrill of a good gamble: dice, craps, running from the cops. Then, there’re the dolls. They daydream about “the one”, the veil, the wedding. Spring is for flings, so we took our hearts to see 1 of Broadway’s greatest love stories. Our friend, Lorin Latarro, STOLE THE LEAD as Adelaide. (For aspiring young gals who wanna see a great role, see this show with Lorin as Adelaide. She’s such a doll.) Adelaide took a gamble on an imperfect guy, but in the end, he was perfect for her. (No one’s perfect after all.)

But, there is a perfectly spectacular cast of Guys and Dolls. With a wide variety of ages, this 20s-esque show demonstrates the power of performance at different stages of your career. Chances are, you’ll come out of the theatre feeling empowered about this revival. And if you’re up for a good laugh, “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat” will leave you on the edge of your seat.

MORAL OF THE STORY
: Guys and Dolls may be a love story, but it’s also about the love of performing. When you’re good… you last. Just like true love. Go backstage with us here.
