Blaze of Glory

Zan Bongiovi

Boy, they’re growing up so fast these days... This young tween is merely 12 years old and she’s acing the 6th grade. Not to mention, blazing through 7th grade high honors classes and tutoring a young student.

With so much positive parent feedback and tween love for gendance, we decided to keep you up to date with more amazing teeny-boppers. And since last week’s issue was devoted to theme park performers, we think Zan is a spicy follow up. Miss Bongiovi will be performing at Six Flags this summer as a backup dancer for her friend Alessandra Castronovo whose booked solid at NJ’s Great Adventure. We asked Zan what rehearsals were like and she had this to say:

“We go to Alessandra's house on Friday nights or on the weekend and practice in her basement. She sings and we dance; and her mom cooks the best food for us.” (Soo 6th grade. Love it.)

If you think that’s cool, look for Zan in this summer’s soon to be blockbuster hit,The Last Airbender. She was involved in the filming last summer. The lead is an avitar that has the ability to manipulate the four elements and Zan was by his side filming as his classmate.

“We filmed scenes near the water and on bridges. It was amazing. Jackson Rathbone was on set. He’s from Twilight. I got to meet him. Ahhhh, what a heart throb!” (Tweens!)

Besides dance, this beauty loves being with her family and she says they get along really well. (Sounds like a case of the Bradys to us), but we still love Zan and think you should follow in her footsteps. In fact, you can easily do that by clicking here and subscribing to her blog.
