I Like The Way You Move

He’s known as an agent-aholic. Which is kinda like a workaholic mixed with loving your job as an agent. His business drives him to create, and this spring, he hopped into his biz car and cruised to entrepreneurship. Today, we congratulate Jim Keith (a.k.a agent coolness) for launching a new management company for choreographers and dance educators. Welcome: The Movement.

Jim Keith is inspired by his former dance teachers and mentors including Joe Tremaine, Jackie Sleight, Marguerite Derricks, Billy Goodson and Michael Ronney. He hung up his hat up from several proud moments as a talent rep from the best agencies in the market. He believed in his clients and today, he’s his own boss.

This trend has to do with taking life by the horns. Take risks in pursuit of rewards. The reward here is a new choreography division representing TV, film, concert tours and more. Plus an education division representing workshops, studio choreography and master classes.

Jim is a leader that believes in the quality of The Movement; not the quantity. So stop frontin’ with your “I have this, and I did that” and understand that quality does count and it’s Jim Keith who can show us the way. The Movement focuses on putting the artist first, and in turn, they will be in a position to earn greater revenue. And then... the industry can have it’s own “movement” where dancers and choreographers break the bank. It might take time, but Jim’s got all the time in the world. After all, he’s the guy with HIS name on the door now.
