Next Gen Artistic Communities Unite

gendance Meets GEN ART

gendance purchased its first piece of art-ever. Appropriately entitled “Fierce”, this lioness with a tiara is the perfect accent to our office attitude. (We won’t tell you how much we snagged it for, but we can assure you it was a sweet deal.)

On June 24th, we rocked the red carpet at the I Love Gen Art: 15th Anniversary Benefit. Honorary chairpersons Zac Posen, Adrian Grenier (wow) Nick Cannon, Georgina Chapman, William H. Macy, Adrian Brody, Rebecca Taylor, John Leguizamo, and Alan Cumming (love him) were the night’s talented icons to look up to.

But the man of the evening was founder, Ian Gerard, featured to the left. Just like gendance represents the rising stars of our industry, Gerard started Gen Art to support the young artistic community. His vision brought the works of over 60 of today’s most exciting young artists working in mixed mediums. From just emerging to world-renown, the artwork exhibited was available for sale with prices ranging from $150 - $5,000. See? You don’t have to own a thousand yachts to be able to afford a nice piece of art.

Get on the Gen Art soirée A list. They know how to throw a party.

FYI: Next week’s trend report features a Gen Art artist, who paints dancers!
