Next Gen Talent is Alive and Well in NYC

The Pulse on Tour has become a household name by now. Immediately you think of the most illustrious choreographers: Brian Friedman (oooh), Mia Michaels, (ahhh), Wade Robson (yowza!). But, ladies and gents, there’s another reason why The Pulse radiates through to our minds: the next gen stars who attend! gendance scoured the scene for the trendiest young talent and we found ourselves immersed in coolness. 

While mingling with stylish mavens of hip hop, contemporary and Broadway, gendance spread some love with our new COOL CARDS. The chill kids to the left were definitely worthy of theirs. We then snuck a peek at The Pulse gala rehearsal. You wouldn’t believe the outfits we saw, let alone the skills. (Where do you guys get so much energy?)

So, to all the kids that became stars last week and to their parents who trekked to NYC from all over the country-way to be, NYC, July 2009 Pulse Peeps.

A big GFF shout out to April Cook. April helps us fire up thousands of dancers for the next generation and we love her for it! Congrats to everyone who still has a Pulse after a week of hard work.
