What’s the most rewarding thing about opening your own dance studio as a dancer? Is there something that stands out?

The most rewarding thing about opening my own dance studio as a dancer is watching my students learn and grow. I feel blessed to not only own a business with my family, but also go to the studio everyday and do something I am passionate about and love... DANCE. I guess what really stands out is sitting back and watching my students perform. The dancers and teachers at ICON put so much work into every performance opportunity we are afforded, when the dancers take the stage... it WOWS me. I am filled with pride and continue to be inspired everyday by my own students. It is a huge gift to give back and pass on my dance experience and knowledge to the next generation of dancers. The discipline and work ethic I have learned from dance has led me to many opportunities not only in dance, but in life and I hope to have a part in the realization of my students dreams. I see the passion for dance in their eyes, and it grows every day... that, to me, is the most rewarding part of my job.
