Whatcha Gonna Do When They Come For You? |

Dance is ever-changing. Even ballet, the most traditional genre and the foundation of technique is adapting to new concepts and trends. With the emergence of edgy contemporary ballet companies and a solid presence on reality TV, it’s clear that ballet is moving (gracefully) into the next generation. It was recently announced that Rasta Thomas’s Bad Boys of Dance will perform at the 2010 Opening Ceremonies of the USA International Ballet Competition. The USA IBC is an Olympic-style ballet competition where next gen stars compete for company contracts, scholarships, cash and medals. This competition doesn’t take place until next June, but we had to leak the news today because we couldn’t keep these breathtaking shots to ourselves. Bad Boys of Dance is a stunning cast of male dancers who combine ballet, Broadway, ballroom, hip hop, gymnastics, martial arts, pure adrenaline and entertainment. If you think that was a mouthful, let us leave you speechless with this new commemorative poster. Go ahead… look at it. Feelin’ bad yet? You should be after last week’s icon of Nasty Boys and the masculine power of these photos of the Bad Boys of Dance. Prepare to be awe-inspired by the effortless beauty of Rasta Thomas and his Bad Boys. (And when they come for you, don’t be afraid to feel a little naughty.) Don’t miss the Bad Boys of Dance at the 2010 USA IBC. Mark your calendars. |
