This November, Something AMAZING Happened.

Emily Kadow

gendance became media sponsor of the Miss Amazing Pageant which allows young women with disabilities to be “queens for a day” while raising money for organizations like Ronald McDonald House and Salvation Army.  We gathered our best colleagues and dedicated the perfect gift for these admirable women.  Donations came in from Body Wrappers, DANCE-OPOLY, Nike, R.Evolución Latina, Mona Rose Lujano, Luis Salgado and Elizabeth Barry & Associates, and collaboratively through a silent auction, we raised $250.

gendance was thanked as the ‘agency from NYC that made a big impact’, but we feel that the person to thank here is the young teen, Jordan Somer, who decided to become a monumental leader for this group of commendable women.

To date over $3,000 has been raised… and it started with a performer who had a mission to give back.  Dancers, it’s the perfect time to get inspired and find a way to do good with your talent.

Please join Jordan and her mom plan for next year’s event.  If you have dance items that you want to donate, please contact k.somer@cox.net or call 402-238-5476.  The address for donations is 1109 Parc Dr Papillion, NE 68046.  All items are needed and congrats should be said; for it’s the youth that makes the impossible-possible.
