It’s Christmas Eve… Are you dreaming of sugarplums dancing in your head or what it’s like to be a Rockette in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular?
Don’t wait for Santa to bring you the inside scoop, we’re One Step Ahead! Meet Rockette, Afra Hines and hear what it’s like to perform on that magical stage.

Is being a Rockette your Christmas wish?
It’s one of them! To dance in front of 6,000 people at Radio City Music Hall on the "great stage" is such a blessing.

Do you have any special show time traditions?
I don't, but on days where I have 4 shows, I usually take a nap and a shower after the 2nd show. I pretend like it's a whole new day. Sometimes the girls and I watch movies. There are long days at the Music Hall, but the hard work is worth it.

Our favorite number is the Wooden Soldiers. What’s yours?
I love the Parade of the Wooden Soldiers too! I think its most people’s favorite. It's been around since the 1930s and it's a Rockette classic. It's extremely precise and takes a lot of concentration.

For our glamorous readers, tell us, what it’s like being covered in Swarovski’s?
I feel so shiny! The last number is called “Let Christmas Shine,” so we’re all decked out in these fabulous Swarovski crystals. It's really beautiful. We even have bling on our shoes!

Well, there you have it folks: Bling on your shoes! From the legs of a Rockette to your Christmas stockings, Merry Christmas!
